The place is huge, but you have to pay an extra fee to use the specific facilities so it&#8217;s not as affordable as it first seems. Nevertheless the exploration made for a good change to our walk, and really showcases Mexican public spaces at their finest, ha!<\/p>\n<p>We started at the defunct bobsled track:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5134\/5550795338_9bf6c5d013_z.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5149\/5550215875_fe30a880eb_z.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Enjoyed the flowering trees behind the miserable field hockey field:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5299\/5550800236_d63f15343d_z.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Checked out the slightly dilapidated archery stadium:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5185\/5550802326_473aab8138_z.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And topped it off with a little rusted rock climbing wall:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5223\/5550805692_c517e9bf9f_z.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not to burn too many calories, we went home, and made some of these:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5306\/5550227127_ba01257220_z.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>which keeping with the theme of the day, came out a bit shabby themselves, but were tasty nonetheless.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our latest adventure took us all the way across the street to Unidad Deportiva Revoluci\u00f3n, a public sports complex and site of the 2011 Panamerican Games Headquarters.
